What number to adjust it to is up to you and your preferences. But that is the slider that changes the high levels of the dinos you see in the wild. Default difficulty is at 0.2. Difficulty 5 will give you max level 150 dinos.As for your dino level, most official servers will simple delete any dino that hits level 450, either through breeding or through leveling. The thing is, X-dinos will take 3x less damage from the player and your tames, and do 3x more damage to your tames (but not to you) So definitely watch out for X-dinos. They're very dangerous.

r/ARK • We just tamed it, no mods on the server. Walk/sprint is normal on land, but in water it goes lightspeed. Settings are nearly vanilla, tweaked them only slightly and have never had a bug like this before. Its the only dino whos water speed is godly in our world so far.
