My son, however, is wanting go start racing karts. His rookie division uses the Predator 212. I purchased a new one and broke it in. The only modification allowed is removal of the governor. I did this after break in and now it won’t hardly run.

When I got the bike the governor was set at 3620 rpm. I know these engines in stock form will take 5000 rpm and still be fine. I wanted to increase the governor speed to about 4500 rpm.
