Posts: 26. I agree, only way to do the LT1 IMO is to keep the MSRP under $40k. At almost $45k you might as well pick up a no option 2SS. One thing to mention though is that the LT1s do lease out much cheaper than a SS does. If you're leasing, an optioned LT1 even at that level might be cheaper than a base 1SS to lease.Although LT1 is the cheaper model, it offers a similar engine to the Camaro SS. With a 6.2-L premium V-8 engine that produces a power output of 55hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, the LT1 remains a luxurious but compelling vehicle.
