Compared to the 27 in the VM amp, that's quite a disparity. The VM amp appears to run 290 volts B+, with 250 going to the plates. That's a 40 volt drop withing the windings of the OPTs! Hi Everyone, I have bought a small tube amp from Ebay. It is converted to a guitar amp from some other application. With a DOD 250 pedal and an 8 Ohm speaker it is nice, but without the pedal it is not loud for my guitar.
