This park has a variety of wildlife, birds and plants in a setting of beaches, tidal salt marsh, and marine and upland hammock . , Beautiful Beach! May 2015. Anastasia Island State Park and Campground is a very nice place to visit. Most camp sites are a short bike ride to the beach. Campground offers water and electric (with RV dump station near the exit). You can bike in to old town in about 20 minutes and enjoy all that St. Augustine has to offer.
