Doesn't matter what tree you do as long as you have 1,800 Mining Speed for Hardstone and vanilla ores, Great Explorer, Mole, Powder Buff, and Vein Seeker ability for the increased Mining Spread. People recommend 51 into Mole perk since values past that are buggy and efficiency falls off, at least from what I've heard.
