You need at least a rig + pistol if I'm not mistaken, to not get tagged and cursed, a backpack might be necessary too. A scav vest and a pistol is the minimum to avoid tagged and cursed. Nice, I’ll have to do that next time I run as PMC. For now tho it’s scav raids until I get a rig.

I usually take a pistol, 3 mags, and a scav vest in with me in factory, and I am tagged & cursed. Attached a pic of what rushed me my last factory run with that gear. Yes, that's online, and not offline. there's some other trigger or total value of gear or something. But no, just 1 extra mag will not cut it.

Normally I would also recommend this, but this wipe especially, tagged and cursed seems much more severe. I'm doing a hardcore playthrough, so I've been tagged a lot more then usual and the scavs will randomly turn from 150m+ and one tap. Lol. I still do it when I have to, but maybe not a great idea for a lower skilled player.

It does feel like tagged and curse or at least something to force you out of the raid. As someone who normally extracts at 1-2 minutes left nearly every raid i see this happen a lot, certainly around the 10-7 min mark.
