Awoken mementos destiny 2

I’m just getting back into destiny after about a 1-2 year hiatus and I’m trying to pick up “awoken mementos” for this hunters remembrance quest and it’s telling me I don’t have enough space, but I don’t know how to make the space for it/what part of my inventory is too full for it, can anyone help?
