Subaru eyesight problems
Oct 6, 2021 · Hey guys. I have a 2019 Crosstrek Linted and have been experiencing problems with the Eyesight feature along with many others. When turning on my car instantly almost all indicators stay illuminated and the dash screen starts letting me know Eyesight off-check owners manual, RAB disabled- check owners manual, ect.. with blind spot, traction control, lane assist, uphill assist and the like. Want to say before people chime in saying "had my car 5 years without eyesight problems" or "zero eyesight problems since I purchased in 2019" LOL - this is my experience and want to know thoughts and opinions from you fine Subaru owners. Two months ago I was driving on the freeway, 75 degrees going 70mph and my eyesight went out.

Same problem exists with a rattle/vibrating noise within the eyesight system, so it appears this fault hasn't be fixed in new models. Dealer said it was a known issue and said the solution was to place some insulation tape around wiring within the eyesight system. It has reduced the occurrence but it still exists. I have similar issues with my 2021 outback onyx xt. There are supposed to be 3 different stages of Eyesight pre- collision warning/ intervention.
