As such, for pure gem farming 30-8 is best for green gems (30/r100) and 29-6 is best for blue gems (2/5/10 + 1/r77 + 1/r77 + 1/r77) ("r" indicates the rare drop quantity)

There are some good things about it, yes. You farm blue gems and rank EXP in the process, and its also MUCH faster to complete than the actually good link level stages, like 7-10.
